About this project
The proposed development seeks to provide a newly constructed 58 bedroom Hotel with five luxury flats with their own independent entrance.
The project is situated in the heart of Victoria and will add vibrancy to street frontage, together with the opportunity to create a contemporary building, befitting of its settings.
The scheme was granted planning consent in August of this year.
Key issues in the design include complete separation between the different uses, an architecture that complements the adjacent building, especially Wellington House and a choice of mixed brickwork with deep reveals and rich detailing. The internal floor plans optimise the space available to achieve the maximum number of hotel rooms whilst the generous residential units enjoy good natural light, interesting views and terraces where possible.
