This townhouse in the centre of St Remy de Provence was carefully restored and, during the process, many beautiful original features were uncovered.

The medieval stone staircase and arched vaults had been concealed behind partition walls, whilst the original beams were retained at all levels.

The main living room is located at second-floor level, with a full-width balcony and foldaway windows facing the street.

The generous roof terrace is accessed by a spiral staircase that was accommodated within the thick party wall, with shared roof lighting to the kitchen below.
