Mas St. Joseph, Provence

About the Project

The ambience of the house has been created by the acquisition of many interesting artefacts, many of which required considerable renovation and restoration.

An example of this is the two angels guarding the house in the entrance hall and the two Indian daybeds in the loggia, which required complete reconstruction.

Certain of the main artwork was already in the possession of the client and so, inevitably, the marriage if all elements was important.

During the works, which occurred in winter over three phases, the areas have now been refined to a shape that is final.
